About The Speaker

Kelsey McDonald

Kelsey is a published author whose career in public education spans 20+ years serving marginalized children and youth, primarily as a school counsellor and principal.  Most recently, she was seconded as a provincial Consultant with the Inclusion Support Branch of Manitoba’s Department of Education. Having professional experiences from a variety of vantage points has provided Kelsey with a unique perspective on our educational systems, which has informed her advocacy work. Kelsey holds a B.Ed. and a PBDE from the University of Manitoba, where she is currently completed a M.Ed. in Counselling Psychology.
