Jackie Scales
Jackie is a sought-after advisor. Prior to Teck, she was a senior manager with Deloitte’s human capital and consulting practice and has held board positions with community not-for-profit organizations, such as Pride at Work Canada. In 2021 Jackie was recognized with the CGLCC Business Leader of the Year Award for her significant contributions to the LGBT+ community in Canada.
Jackie Scales is a recognized leader with 20 years’ experience in financial services and human resources consulting. As Director, Inclusion and Diversity at Teck Resources, Jackie is a change agent, leading initiatives that disrupt bias and drive employee engagement.

Jackie chairs the Royal Roads University Business School Advisory Board and is an active member of the Mining Industry Human Resources Council’s Inclusion and Diversity Advisory Board, the Women’s Executive Network’s Inclusion Advisory Board and a board member for Girl in the Wild, an organization empowering young women through adventure-based learning. Jackie also served as co-chair for the Lieutenant Governor’s Forum on First Nations (Ontario) and co-founded Leaders To Be Proud Of, a national awards program recognizing gay and gay-positive business leaders.
Jackie was awarded the 2011 Lynda Bowles Spirit Award and the Royal Roads University
